Senior Counsel Brings 25+ Years of Experience To California Insurance Defense Practice Group

Hickey Smith Dodd LLP is pleased to announce that Michael S. Mars, Esq. has joined the firm as a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Insurance Defense Practice Group in Southern California. Mr. Mars brings more than twenty-five years of experience representing clients in all aspects of property damage and personal injury matters, including matters involving catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death. His practice includes, among others, the defense of claims involving automobile and motorcycle accidents, uninsured motorists, general and premises liability, construction accidents and construction defects, and alleged mold infestation. Before joining Hickey Smith Dodd, Mr. Mars previously worked as in-house counsel for Farmers Insurance Group, Nationwide Insurance Company, and Safeco Insurance Company, as well as an AV rated California insurance defense law firm. “Mike is a great addition to our California insurance defense team, and we are pleased he has joined us,” said Christian E.
