Thomas M. Hartwig has more than twenty years of experience in general liability litigation. He has tried cases in both state and federal courts and is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.
Before joining Hickey Smith, Thomas worked for both national and state-wide law firms. His prior practice focused on general liability litigation, medical malpractice defense, pharmaceutical defense, professional liability defense, and insurance coverage.
Thomas has extensive experience in defending physicians, podiatrists, hospitals, pharmacies, outpatient surgery centers, nursing homes, health maintenance organizations, dentists, radiology facilities and insurance companies. In addition, Thomas has represented physicians in administrative proceedings before the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration.
